EVENT DETAILS

The Canadian rapper, singer, actor and entrepreneur is one of the biggest artists on the planet

Breaking through in the late 00s, Drake has released five studio albums: Thank Me Later, Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, Views, Scorpion, Certified Lover Boy, Honestly, Nevermind and For All The Dogs.

Born Aubrey Drake Graham but also known as Champagne Papi, Drizzy and 6 God, the Toronto-born artist holds a remarkable record in UK chart history for the most Top 10 singles by a rapper. These include 'Passionfruit', 'Hotline Bling', 'Hold On', 'We’re Going Home' and the record-breaking No.1 singles in 'One Dance' and 'Toosie Slide'.

A self-confessed Anglophile, Drake is known for his strong affinity to the UK because of its hip hop and grime culture. The rapper has worked with UK artists such as Skepta, Giggs, Sampha and Jamie xx throughout his illustrious career.

He put his British kinship to the test in 2025, announcing that he would not only headline Wireless Festival for its 20th anniversary, but he would in fact headline each of the Finsbury Park festival's three nights with three specially tailored sets.

The first night would focus on R&B with Summer Walker and PARTYNEXTDOOR revealed as his guests; the second night he'd be joined by "the mandem", hinting at a roster of UK greats; and the third night will see Burna Boy and Vybz Kartel in support as Afrobeats and dancehall are the sound of the day.

Known for his spectacular set designs and his boundless energy, Drake has a reputation for being one of the best live performers in the game.

July 2025 sees Drake perform shows in Birmingham and Manchester as part of his Drake with PARTYNEXTDOOR: $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK tour.
